The Loyalty Pledge, the educational scholarship programme of the Royal College Union conducted through the Loyalty Pledge Management Committee celebrates its 19th Anniversary on 21 November 2021. The Loyalty Pledge was launched by the Royal College Union in 2002 with the noble objective of supporting the curricular and co-curricular activities of Royalists at the College who are encountering financial challenges to achieve their dreams. The Loyalty Pledge has championed this worthy cause for almost two decades providing more than 2000 scholarships to Royalists to illuminate their lives. The Loyalty Pledge proudly celebrates its contributions to the College and the Society as it has helped producing worthy citizens of Sri Lanka through its silent service.
The successful journey of Loyalty Pledge for almost two decades would not have been possible had not been for the support of the successive Principals of Royal College and staff, Royal College Union and more importantly, the donors and well wishers of the Loyalty Pledge. The Loyalty Pledge conveys its sincere gratitude to its donors in Sri Lanka and World over for their generous support without which the Loyalty Pledge would not have been able to make the impact it has made on the lives of Royalists.
On this auspicious day for the Loyalty Pledge, it pledges to the College and world at large that it will continue to help young Royalists to illuminate their lives and to help them achieve their dreams in lives.
We take this opportunity highlight some of our achievements made in 2020/2021.

- Special Support to Adeepa Kularathne
